    Vizeum is looking for an Account Director to add to their growing team for a major Beverage client. As the senior media planning person, you will lead the strategic direction, manage the day to day operations and be the primary client contact for all things media. You will be an expert on the client's business and a leader on the team.


    The focus of this role will be on delivering best-in-class media planning product that demonstrates exceptional knowledge of the media environment- delivering digital leadership, with a passion for media-led innovation and customer insight. As a senior member of the team you must be proactive, constantly looking to identify business opportunities and solutions, foster results oriented relationships and be able to effectively communicate the agency's vision.


    In this role, you will be responsible for managing a communications planning team – developing their skills, evaluating their performance and managing their growth.


    • Accountable for best-in-class media planning, including innovative thinking and flawless execution
    • Lead the process of strategic media planning/execution and serve as a mentor for other team members
    • Demonstrate ability to utilize resources to help guide client’s marketing goals in their respective markets (syndicated, proprietary, analyst data)
    • In combination with the Network’s trading team, provide oversight and stewardship of all media placements
    • Manage day-to-day expectations of clients and deliverables under extremely tight time
    • Accurately represent the client’s point of view when reviewing work, leverage this perspective when providing feedback to team and presenting to client
    • Provide and/or guide strategic input for all plans internally and externally
    • Ensure key information is provided to team regarding client issues, internal agency issues, changes in account status, etc. 


    The Account Director is expected to have a strong working knowledge of the media space (including digital media) and available media research. A minimum of 7+ years' of planning experience which include progressive client management experience is key for success in this role.  


    • Digital first approach - with solid expertise in traditional media
    • Deep knowledge and experience with multi-channel marketing; understanding of key research sources
    • Strategic thinking ability with balanced analytical and creative approach to tactical planning
    • Capable of expressing oneself clearly and concisely in written & in person communications
    • Proven leadership skills and management experience
    • Experience successfully bringing together people from different disciplines, internal and external to achieve desired outcomes
    • Commitment to delivering creative solutions, and the ability to align team members behind creative solutions
    • High-level proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
